About the Journal
The Journal of Health and Education (JOHE) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Health and Education Research Network (HERN), Islamabad, Pakistan. It provides a forum for research in medical sciences, allied health, rehabilitation and health professions education.
Aims and scope
JOHE seeks research that strengthens the evidence supporting clinical practice, rehabilitation, health services and the education of healthcare professionals. Its scope includes medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, mental health, psychology, interprofessional education and related allied health disciplines. Submissions should explain their relevance to health outcomes, professional learning or healthcare delivery.
Editorial assessment
Manuscripts are assessed for relevance, methodological soundness, ethical conduct, transparent reporting and contribution to the field. JOHE uses double-anonymized peer review. Publication decisions are based on scholarly merit; payment of an article processing charge does not guarantee acceptance.

Published articles are freely accessible online. Authors retain copyright. Reuse is governed by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International license stated on the individual article.
