Ownership, Management and Revenue Transparency

The Journal of Health and Education (JOHE) is published by Health and Education Research Network (HERN), based in Islamabad, Pakistan. HERN is responsible for publishing administration and journal infrastructure. Editorial evaluation is the responsibility of the appointed editorial team.

The Chief Editor oversees editorial standards and publication decisions. The Managing Editor coordinates editorial operations, while the Journal Manager supports administration. Editors and advisors contribute within their expertise and must declare relevant competing interests.

Revenue and commercial independence

The journal charges article processing fees of PKR 25,000 for local authors and USD 100 for international authors. Applicable fee arrangements are described on the APC page. Financial arrangements must not influence peer review or acceptance. Any sponsorship or other material financial support should be disclosed where relevant; this page does not assert that APCs are the publisher's only source of revenue.

Advertising and special content

Any advertising or sponsored content must be clearly identified and separated from editorial material. Advertisers and sponsors must not select reviewers, influence decisions or require favorable coverage. Special issues and guest-edited content remain subject to the journal's ethics, conflict-of-interest and peer-review requirements; the Chief Editor retains oversight.
